Obituary for Thomas J. Beiersdorf
Thomas J. Beiersdorf, Sr. of Edgewater, FL (formerly of Arcade, NY) passed away Thursday, October 13, 2022 at the Advent Health Hospital In New Smyrna Beach, FL at the age of 80.
He was born March 14, 1942 in North Tonawanda, a son of the late Edward and Blanche (Thursby) Beiersdorf. He was a machinist for General Motors in Kenmore, NY. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, wood working, and racing. He was also a United States Navy Veteran and served from 1959-1963.
He is survived by his wife, Karen (Grieser) Beiersdorf, whom he married in December of 1966 in North Tonawanda. He is also survived by his son, Ron (Kathy) Beiersdorf of Rome, PA; grandchildren: Allyson, Zachary, Beau, Drake, and Eli; sister-in-law, Nancy Beiersdorf of Lyndonville, NY; as well as several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he is predeceased by his son, Tom Beiersdorf, Jr., and brothers: Gary and Peter Beiersdorf.
Friends may call on Thursday, October 27, 2022 from 6pm-8pm at the W.S. Davis Funeral Home, 358 Main St. Arcade, NY 14009, where a brief prayer service will take place at 7:30pm.
