Obituary for Shirley Ann Glasgow
Shirley Ann Glasgow of Arcade, NY passed away on Monday, August 1, 2022 at her residence at the age of 85.
She was born August 12, 1936 in Rush, PA a daughter of the late David A. and Ruth Marie (Price) Anderson. She was a member of the Arcade United Methodist Church and enjoyed bird watching and spending time with her family. She also enjoyed Penn state football and watching the Buffalo Bills win the Superbowl.
She was a LPN for the State of New York.
Her husband, William R. Glasgow, Jr. who she married on October 11, 1958 in Winchester, VA, passed away on April 27, 2022.
Shirley is survived by her children; William Glasgow, III of Arcade, Tracy (Scott) Stiles of Arcade and Dana (Hossein) Pahlavani of Virginia; her grandchildren: Megan Maricle, Ryan Glasgow, Jacob Maricle, Dillon Stiles and Emily Glasgow; her siblings: Doris (late Lynn) Sharpless of Sandy Ridge, PA, Dawn (Jim) Petro of Hawk Run, PA; her sister-in-law, Barb Anderson of Houtzdale, PA; also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents and her husband, she is preceded in death by her brother, James "Bud" Anderson.
There will be no calling hours. A private service will be held at the convenience of the family.
