Obituary for Ronald C. Jackson
Ronald C. Jackson of Delevan, NY passed away on Wednesday, October 5, 2022 at the Bertrand-Chaffee Hospital in Springville at the age of 75.
He was born October 2, 1947 in Wellsville, NY a son of the late Ernest and Agnes (Ost) Jackson. He was a United States Army Vietnam Veteran and served from 1968-1970. He was also a member of St. Mary's Church in Arcade and was a member of the Knights of Columbus. He enjoyed watching NASCAR and old westerns, going fishing, and going shooting.
He is survived by his wife, Susan (Boberg) Jackson whom he married October 11, 1974 in Delevan; his children: Randy (Tamara) Jackson of Virginia and Sara Jackson of Cheektowaga; his sisters: Linda Rix of Scio, NY and Sandra (Willis) Duell of Shinglehouse, PA; his grandchildren: Tiffany, Gavin, Paige, and Taylor; also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his siblings: Ernest Jackson, Jr., Robert Jackson, Ernestine Haynes, Cora Kinnicutt, Esther Multrup, Beverly Brown, Betty Jackson, and Audrey Jackson.
There will be no prior visitation. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday, October 12, 2022 at 1PM at St. Mary's Church, 417 W. Main St. Arcade with Rev. Joseph Gullo officiating. Final interment with military honors will follow in Delevan Cemetery.
