Obituary for Richard "Rick" C. Morris
Richard "Rick" C. Morris of Sardinia, NY passed away on Friday, December 23, 2022 at Absolut Care at Aurora Park at the age of 61.
He was born on October 22, 1961 in Springville, NY a son of Diane (Widemann) Morris of Sardinia and the late Richard R. Morris who passed away on November 6, 2000. Rick was well known at the local coffee shops and enjoyed making firewood. He also mowed lawn and snowplowed.
He was a laborer for Morris Excavating in Sardinia.
In addition to his mother, Rick is survived by his brothers: Douglas (Katie) Morris and Dale (Brandy) Morris both of Sardinia. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Friends may call on Friday, December 30, 2022 from 2-4pm and 6-8pm at the W.S. Davis Funeral Home, 358 Main St., Arcade where a Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, December 31, 2022 at 11am with Pastor Shawn Hannon. officiating. Interment will be held in Sardinia Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Chaffee-Sardinia Fire Department, P.O. Box 203, Chaffee, NY 14030.
