Obituary for Richard Ray Kruse
Richard Ray Kruse formerly of Delevan, NY passed away on Saturday, June 25, 2022 at Olean General Hospital at the age of 81.
He was born August 8, 1940 in West Valley, NY a son of the late Clayton and Blanche Kruse. He had worked for National Fuel and enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren and watching NASCAR. He also enjoyed golfing, the Buffalo Bills and the Buffalo Sabres.
He is survived by his children: Scott (Kimberly) Kruse of Olean and Kathleen (Jeff) Norton of Delevan; his grandchildren: Alex (Bethany), Zack (Kayleigh), Aaron, Connor and Noelle (Stewart); his siblings: Ellen (Ray) Wilheim, Gerald (Marjorie) Kruse, Robert (Virginia) Kruse and Dale (Donna) Kruse; his brother-in-law, Leon Sturzenbecher; also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife, Margaret (Smith) Kruse who passed away in 2000; his partner, Jan Lexer; his siblings: Agnes (Neil) Fleckenstein, Paul (Gloria) Kruse, Marian Sturzenbecher and infants Dorothy, Donald and Lois Kruse.
Friends may call on Wednesday, June 29, 2022 from 2-4 and 6-8pm at the W.S. Davis Funeral Home, 358 Main St., Arcade where a Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, June 30, 2022 at 11am with Pastor Kim Rosi officiating. Interment will be held in Delevan Cemetery.
