Obituary for Marilyn H. Bishoff
Marilyn H. Bishoff of Freedom, NY passed away May 16, 2022 at the Wyoming County Skilled Nursing Facility at the age of 96.
She was born August 12, 1925 in Curriers, NY a daughter of the late Leon and Lucille (Nichols) Haggerty.
She worked at Fisher-Price in Holland as a Common Counter.
She was a member of the Arcade Senior Citizens and enjoyed crocheting, playing cards, and spending time with her family.
She is survived by her children: Allen (Mary) Bishoff of Freedom, Roger (late Alene) Bishoff of Sardinia, Arilyn "Duffy" (Angie) Bishoff of Tifton, GA, and Ronald Bishoff of Arcade; her siblings: Darrell "Chub" (Anna) Haggerty of Freedom and Loretta (late Francis) LeFort of Strykersville; ten grandchildren, sixteen great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband - LeRoy A. Bishoff whom she married October 24, 1945 in Curriers, NY; her siblings: Keith Haggerty, Calvin "Tap" Haggerty, Isabell Weitz, and Kermit Haggerty. She is also preceded in death by her grandson - Cortney Bishoff.
Friends may call Friday, May 20, 2022 from 2-4 PM and 6-8 PM at the W.S. Davis Funeral Home, 358 Main Street, Arcade, NY. A Funeral Service will be held Saturday, May 21, 2022 at 10 AM at the Central Baptist Church, 12045 Old Olean Rd, Yorkshire, NY, with Rev. Benjamin Phillips and Rev. Paul Phillips officiating. Burial will be held in the Curriers Cemetery.
