Obituary for Lisa L. Bennett
Lisa L. Bennett of Dalton, NY passed away Tuesday, April 11, 2023 at the Nicholas H. Noyes Memorial Hospital in Dansville at the age of 57.
She was born September 10, 1965 in Rochester, NY a daughter of the late Joseph and Dolores Sovereign. Lisa was a great cook, was very wise and had a sarcastic sense of humor. She was a very easy person to get to know and was welcoming and very motherly. Lisa referred to herself as a "domestic goddess."
She is survived by her husband, Dennis Bennett who she married on December 20, 1998 in Nunda; her children: Joseph Bennett and Lauren (John) Schlendorf both of Dalton; her step-children: Stacey (Tim) Mullen of Rexville and Travis Bennett of Fillmore; her siblings: Cindy Barrett of Rochester, Verdella (Pete) Henderickson of Dalton, Miles (Becky) Sovereign of Chili, Eric Sovereign of Chili; her half-siblings: Jean Carpenter of Colorado and Ken (Linda) Carpenter of Seward, AK; also survived by several nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her parents.
There will be no calling hours. A private service will be held at the convenience of the family.
