Obituary for Krista Mary Lonergan
Krista Mary Lonergan of Arcade, NY passed away on Tuesday, December 20, 2022 at Buffalo General Hospital at the age of 41.
She was born on May 28, 1981 in Springville, NY a daughter of Joseph and Cindy (Owens) Boberg of Delevan. She loved spending time with her children and her niece and nephew. She had a love for riding and showing horses. She also had a passion for fitness and was a fitness instructor for Z-Party Fitness in Arcade.
She was a Pioneer Central graduate and enjoyed sports. As a student, she played field hockey and was a cheerleader.
Krista was the Director of Special Education for the Fillmore School District and was very passionate and devoted to her job.
In addition to her parents, Krista is survived by her beloved husband, James C. Lonergan who she married on November 10, 2018 in Buffalo. She was the loving mother of Kelti Jordan and Rylee Elizabeth Lonergan; dearest sister of Ashley Damstetter of Orchard Park and Jordan Boberg of Lakeview; cherished Aunt Coco to Myla Maryana and Daxtyn. She is also survived by her grandmother, Agnes (late Frederick) Boberg of Delevan; her mother-in-law, Patty Lonergan of West Seneca; her father-in-law, Jim (Kelly Suto) Lonergan of Orchard Park and many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
She is preceded in death by her grandparents, Frederick Boberg and Donald and Mary Owens.
Friends may call on Tuesday, December 27, 2022 from 4-8pm at the W.S. Davis Funeral Home, 358 Main St., Arcade. A Memorial Service will be held on Wednesday, December 28, 2022 at 11am at Hope Lutheran Church, 2 E. Main St., Arcade with Pastor Shawn Hannon officiating. Interment will follow in Delevan Cemetery.
