Obituary for Kenneth "Charlie" C. Powell
Kenneth "Charlie" C. Powell of Arcade passed away peacefully in his sleep on Tuesday, February 15, 2022 at Mercy Hospital in Buffalo at the age of 83.
He was born April 27, 1938 in Gowanda, a son of the late Kenneth and Eva (Brookman) Powell. He was a life long farmer working on his family farm, Powell Farm's. In his later years he enjoyed gardening, traveling, and admiring his water pond. He was also a US Navy Veteran who served between 1960-1964.
He is survived by his wife, Sally (Zeczak) Powell, whom he married October 24, 1964 at St. Mary's Church in Arcade. He is also survived by his children: Kevin Powell of Arcade, Sharon Crowell of Arcade, and Kimberley (Sean) Pott of TX; brother, Russell (Carolyn) Powell of Arcade; grandchildren: Cory and Brandon Crowell, and Annabella Potts; as well as one niece and three nephews.
He is preceded in death by his parents.
Friends may call on Saturday, February 19, 2022 from 11AM-1PM followed by a Funeral Service at 1PM at the W.S. Davis Funeral Home, 358 Main St. Arcade, NY.
