Obituary for Harold E. Burch

Harold E. Burch formerly of Lockport, NY passed away Friday, August 19, 2022 at Absolut of Houghton at the age of 74.

He was born July 1, 1948 in Cuba, NY a son of Phyllis (Hackett) Burch of Yorkshire, NY and the late Herman Burch.

Harold worked as a Machine Operator at Moog, Inc. in East Aurora and previously was employed at Peerless-Winsmith Inc. in Springville, NY.

He recently attended Farmersville Community Church and was a member of the Yorkshire Free Methodist Church as well as Epic Church in Amherst.

Harold started Night Cruisers Car Club as well as the 50's Festival in Arcade.

He is survived by his mother, and children: Harold "Hal" (Angie) Burch Jr. of Temple, Georgia and Deborah (Tim) Bigham of Franklinville; his siblings: Dale (Joy) Burch of Machias and Steve (Lori) Burch of Delevan; his grandchildren: Ryan (Halle) Bigham, Ashley (Dan) Cidell, Christian (Sarah) Bigham, and Kevin (Sydney) Bigham; two great-grandchildren: Danny and Levi. He is also survived by his dear friend and mother of his three children - Shirley Burch. Several nieces and nephews also survive.

In addition to his father, Harold is preceded in death by his daughter - Christie Burch.

There will be no prior calling hours. A Memorial Service will be held Sunday, August 28, 2022 at the Yorkshire Free Methodist Church at 6pm with light refreshments to follow. Interment will be held in the Arcade Rural Cemetery.
