Obituary for George E. Pryor
George E. Pryor of Freedom, NY passed away on Saturday, December 17, 2022 at the Jennie B. Richmond Nursing Home in Springville at the age of 89.
He was born November 1, 1933 in Akron, OH a son of the late George W. and Katherine (Vaughn) Pryor. He was a United States Army Veteran and served from 1958-1960. He also enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren in Florida.
He was a Business Teacher for the Pioneer High School and taught classes at Genesee Community College, Arcade Campus.
George is survived by his wife, Martha (Charles) Pryor whom he married on August 11, 1956 at the Farmersville Baptist Church; his children: Dean K. (Julie) Pryor of Michigan, Terri Pryor of Florida and Kellia (late Johnny) Villanueva of Florida; also survived by nine grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his sister, Hazel Pate.
There will be no calling hours. A Celebration of Life will be announced at a later date. Interment will be held in Freedom Cemetery.
