Obituary for Dolores A. Schultz
Dolores A. Schultz of Springville, NY passed away on Thursday, March 23, 2023 at Buffalo General Hospital at the age of 90.
She was born February 6, 1933 in North Tonawanda and was a daughter of the late George and Ruth (Thompson) Roy. She was a member of Revive Wesleyan Church in Springville.
She was a hostess for the Odosagih Bible Conference in Machias. Prior to working at Odosagih Bible Conference, she had worked at the former Mr. T's in Arcade as well as the Wurlitzer Plant, GC Murphy and Lawless Container all in North Tonawanda.
Her husband, Gordon R. Schultz who she married on August 20, 1950 in North Tonawanda, passed away on November 14, 1991. Together, Dolores and Gordon served many years at the Bethesda Faith Home in Tonawanda.
Dolores is survived by her children: Jeffrey (Cathy) Schultz of Franklinville, Kevin Schultz of Arcade and Gladys Labady of Wheatfield; her estranged daughter, Cynthia Sopicki of Arcade; her grandchildren: Rob (Annette) McEwen of Indiana, Tom McEwen of Indiana, Sarah Hawley of Bath, Shawna Gilman of Rochester, Jeffrey Schultz of Buffalo, Joelle (Joshua) Wilcox of Franklinville, Heather (Justina) Preston of Lakewood, Tyler Schultz of Arcade and Steven and Mark Labady; also survived by several great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents and her husband, she is preceded in death by her siblings: Irv, Purcy and Don Roy, Betty Kovacs and Verna Tiebor.
Friends may call on Monday, March 27, 2023 from 2-4 and 6-8pm at the W.S. Davis Funeral Home, 358 Main St., Arcade where a Funeral Service will be held Tuesday, March 28, 2023 at 11am with Pastor Keith Clark officiating. Interment will be held in Delevan Cemetery.
