Obituary for Dawn A. Nelson
Dawn Alicia Nelson, formerly of Arcade, passed away on Saturday, October 15, 2022 at the Wyoming County Skilled Nursing Facility in Warsaw at the age of 88.
She was born May 9, 1934 in Gowanda, NY a daughter of the late Edwin Marcus and Frances Harmony (Witherell) Crowell.
She worked in the office at Motorola in Arcade.
She is survived by her siblings: Lona Clark of South Carolina, Dave (Joni) Crowell of South Carolina, Sheila Ferington of Georgia, Gail (Robert) Wolcott of Florida and Cyndi (Dale) Miller of South Carolina; also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Kellogg "Kelly" Nelson who passed away on February 15, 1977 and her sister, Patricia Burton.
There will be no calling hours. A private service will be held at the convenience of the family. Interment will be held Elmwood Cemetery in Pike, NY.
