Obituary for Cynthia A. Shutt
Cynthia A. Shutt of Arcade, passed away on Sunday, November 14, 2021 at the Bertrand-Chaffee Hospital in Springville at the age of 57.
She was born May 18, 1964, a daughter of Elizabeth "Betty" (Gersitz) Sanders of Arcade and the late Paul Sanders who passed away August 10, 2021. She was a member of St. Mary's Church in Arcade and enjoyed spending time with her great-niece and great-nephew, crocheting baby sweater sets, and Polka dancing.
She was a Special Education Teacher's Aide at Pioneer Central High School in Yorkshire.
Her husband, Brian E. Shutt who she married on November 9, 1985 in Arcade, passed away on January 21, 2012.
She was the devoted mother of Daniel Shutt of Arcade and Robert Shutt of Pennsylvania who survive. She is also survived by her mother; her siblings: Donna (Mark) Neamon of Arcade, Christine (David) Hastreiter of Franklinville and Dennis (Marisa Miller) Sanders of Arcade; several nieces and nephews as well as a great-niece and a great-nephew.
Friends may call on Sunday, November 21, 2021 from 2-6PM at the W.S. Davis Funeral Home, 358 Main Street, Arcade. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday, November 22, 2021 at 10AM at St. Marys Church, 417 W. Main St., Arcade with Rev. Bryan Zielenieski officiating. Final interment will be held in the S.S. Peter and Paul Cemetery in Arcade
In lieu of flowers, Memorials may be made to the donor's charity of choice.
