Obituary for Carolyn "Sue" Peters
Carolyn "Sue" (Schade) Peters of Delevan, NY passed away on Tuesday, December 7, 2021 at the Bertrand-Chaffee Hospital in Springville following a lengthy illness. She was 76.
She was born December 14, 1944 in Mount Pleasant, MI a daughter of the late Herbert and Laura (Simons) Schade.
She was a cashier at Save-A-Lot in Yorkshire until she retired in February of 2010 to help take care of her first grandchild. She previously worked at Fisher Price in East Aurora, as well as Absolut Care of Aurora Park as a laundry aid. She was very loved and served as the matriarch of the family where her grandchildren were her pride and joy. In her free time, she enjoyed spending time with her husband and visiting the casino.
She is survived by her husband of 54 years, Harold "Pete" Peters, whom she married May 13, 1967 in Holland; her children: John Peters of Lime Lake and Lori (Dan) Morgan of Farmersville Station; her brother, Carl "Butch" (Terry) Schade of Tallahassee, FL; her granddaughters: Kaylee Sue Morgan and Brooklyn Marie Morgan of Farmersville Station; her brother-in-law, Earl Mahiques of East Aurora; also survived by several nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her parents and siblings: Glenn (Thelma) Schade and Ruth Mahiques.
There will be no prior visitation. A private service will be held at the convenience of the family.
