Obituary for Carol L. Seiwert
Carol L. Seiwert of Franklinville, NY passed away on Sunday, December 26, 2021 at Olean General Hospital at the age of 64.
She was born March 28, 1957 in Salamanca, NY a daughter of the late James and Marjorie (Drake) Askey. She enjoyed traveling on her motorcycle, crocheting and visiting the casinos. She was also a member of the Franklinville VFW and American Legion Women's Auxiliary.
She was a LPN for the Pines Healthcare & Rehabilitation Center in Machias.
Carol is survived by her husband, Jerry Seiwert, who she married on July 2, 2015 in Elton, NY; her children: Shelby (Matthew) Sawicki of Arcade, Kayla (Dennis) Green of Machias; two step-children: Vicki (late Steve) Plank of Hornell and Christopher Seiwert of Cohasset, MA; her siblings: James (Tami) Askey of Little Valley and Brenda Wright of Texas; also survived by 11 grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by sister, Ann Gebauer.
There will be no calling hours. A Celebration of Life will be announced in the Spring. Interment will be held in Farmersville Cemetery.
