Obituary for Arthur D. "Art" Cornell
Arthur D. "Art" Cornell, of Holland, New York passed away September 15, 2022 at Kenmore Mercy Hospital at the age of 89.
He was born February 27, 1933 in Corning, NY a son of the late Arthur and Rose (Nichols) Cornell.
He worked at the New York Telephone Company for 33 years.
He loved to fish, and traveled to Canada for various fishing trips.
He is survived by his wife, Gloria (Zilch) Cornell, whom he married December 15, 1956 in Buffalo, NY; his son: Mark (Chong) Cornell of Texas; his son-in-law: Robert Asbell; his grandchildren: Glo (Kyle) Coffey, Crystal (Craig) Keller, Bryon Arthur Asbell, Korin Hope Asbell; his great-grandchildren: Cru and Chevelle Coffey, and Christian and Lexi Keller. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his daughter - Brenda Rose Asbell, and his siblings, Ellie, Helen, Shirley, Jean, Rosemary, and Kenny.
Friends may call September 21, 2022 from 11am-12pm at the W.S. Davis Funeral Home, 358 Main Street, Arcade, NY where a Funeral Service will follow with Rev. Mark Weber officiating. The Burial will be held in the Protection Cemetery in Holland.
