Ann M. Feraldi of Chaffee, NY passed away on Wednesday, March 22, 2023 at the age of 88.
She was born July 21, 1934 in South Wales, NY a daughter of the late Thomas and Berniece (Doster) Kramer.
Her husband of 68 years, Samuel Feraldi, who she married on September 5, 1953 in Delevan, passed away on May 4, 2022. She was a graduate of the Arcade High School and attended Bryant & Stratton College where she obtained her business degree.
Ann was a member of St. Jude's Church in Sardinia and was the past President of the Altar & Rosary Society. She also dedicated time on the Parish Council and would help clean the church. She was also a Cub Scout leader, member of the Chaffee Farm Bureau, a member of the Sardinia Historical Society and former member and past President of the Bertrand-Chaffee Hospital Women's Group.
She volunteered at the St. Pius School and was a volunteer for the American Cancer Society, Meals on Wheels, the Chaffee-Sardinia Firemen's Carnival and for the Town of Sardinia as an election inspector. She was also a docent at the Theodore Roosevelt site.
Ann enjoyed reading, quilting, crafting and playing cards. She was also awarded Democrat of the Year in 1994
Ann was the secretary and bookkeeper for Sam's Texaco in Chaffee which later became known as Sam's Lawn & Garden. She was also the former secretary for the Town of Sardinia and was the former bookkeeper for Webber Trucking.
Ann is survived by her children: Patricia Feraldi of Buffalo, Paul Feraldi of Flat Rock, NC, Philip Feraldi of Chaffee and Peter (Terilyn) Feraldi of Jamestown; her grandchildren: Amber Feraldi, Alicia (Brenden) Blair and Amanda Feraldi; her great-grandson, Orion Blair; also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents and her husband, she is preceded in death by her brother, Bruce (Janet) Kramer.
There will be no calling hours. A Memorial Mass will be held on Tuesday, March 28, 2023 at 11am at St. Jude's Church, 12820 Genesee Rd., Sardinia with Rev. Alfons Osiander officiating. Interment will be held in Sardinia Cemetery.
