Obituary for Alan Russell Tobey
Alan Russell Tobey of Bliss, NY passed away on Wednesday, May 4, 2022 at his residence at the age of 65.
He was born September 24, 1956 a son of the late Floyd and Luella (Hess) Tobey. He had worked for Buffalo Hardwood Floors and Construction and loved fishing and hunting. Most of all, he enjoyed spending time with his family.
He is survived by his wife of 46 years, Cindy (Greenland) Tobey whom he married on October 15, 1976 in Niagara Falls; his son, Russell Alan (Shannon) Tobey of Bliss; his daughter, Rena (Rob) Evans of Bliss; his grandchildren: Ciera (Caleb) Santoro, Dakota (Katie) Vanocker, Gavin Vanocker, Gunner Tobey, Brooklynn Tobey, Khloe Evans, and Ellianna Evans; his great-grandchildren: Grayson and Oliver Santoro; his siblings: Sharon (late Rich) Sydorwicz, Robert (Rosy) Tobey, Barb (Chuck) McCoy, Bev Primerano, Brenda (Smitty) Smith, Erwin (Jen) Tobey; also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his siblings: Carol (Gary) Luzier and Wayne Tobey.
There will be no calling hours. A private service will be held at the convenience of the family.
