Robert L. Domes, of Haskell Ave., Arcade, died Wednesday September 26, 2018 at his home at the age of 77.

He was born April 5, 1941 in Sardinia, New York a son of the late Everett "Pete" and Pearl (nee Lewis) Domes. He was a 1959 graduate of Arcade High School and was a machinist at Steele & O'Brien in Arcade.

He was a member of the Arcade Fire Department, the Sardinia Historical Society and was an avid outdoorsman enjoying hunting and fishing.

He is survived by his wife - Marilyn (nee Kaye) Domes whom he married August 11, 1962; a son - Mark (Dencie) Domes of Arcade; a daughter - Teresa (Jef) Faust of Arcade; three grandchildren - Tim, Lewis & Carly Domes; five brothers - Darrel Domes of Delevan, Everett "Bill" (Virginia) Domes of Chaffee, Theodore Domes of Chaffee, Richard (Cyndy) Domes of Arcade, Duane (Anita) Domes of Springville and several nieces and nephews.

Friends may call Friday September 28, 2018 from 2-4 and 6-8 pm at W. S. Davis Funeral Home, Inc., 358 W. Main St., Arcade, where funeral services will be held Saturday September 29, 2018 at 10 am with Rev. Jeff Hokenson officiating.

Interment will be in Sardinia Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the Arcade Fire Department, PO Box 303, Arcade, NY 14009.
